One Day...

I think my dad is not the strict kind. He will let me do things most other kids my age aren't allowed to do. He does, however, sometimes blow his top beyond belief. He can be very mad at times, and at other times be in a great mood. He can sometimes be doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. He says he doesn't care about me period if I tell him  he doesn't need to care about a specific topic. He says he won't take me to the hospital if I cut my hand on an alluminum can after crushing it because I have stress. I think that this constitutes as child abuse.

Re: 2010

"Thousands are dead, hundreds more injured, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake has struck Haiti early into the New Year," This was one of the two things I had remembered over the course of 2010. It was devastating to hear about what had happened. 230,000 people died, 300,000 were injured, and more than a million became homeless. I had helped online by donating 5 dollars to the Help Foundation. More people were killed as a result of numerous aftershocks.

"The miners are stuck!" They have been down in a sealed mine for two months. 33 people in Chile have been sharing the space of a living room together, waiting to be rescued. Therapists were talking to the miners, until recently when a device similar to a bank teller tube brought them up one by one. One trapped miner was "dumped" by his wife due to her finding out about his mistress. All of them survived a mine shaft collapse during an earthquake. It was a glorious day when they came out.
